Pickup/departure instructions:
Make own way to Kuranda Koala Gardens located in the town of Kuranda on the Atherton Tablelands. This is approximately 25 kilometres from Cairns at the top of the mountain range to the West. Kuranda Koala Gardens is located in the Heritage Markets.
Duration:
Parks are open from 9:30am to 4:00pm (Koala Gardens) & 10:00am to 4:00pm (Birdworld) daily. Allow about 30 minutes to enjoy each park.

There are brilliant Amazonian macaws, the endangered and stately cassowary, cheeky rainbow lorikeets, galahs, cockatoos and many more. Don’t be surprised to find a feathered friend taking a ride on your shoulder.
